Welcome!
I am a postdoctoral researcher at the intersection of Computer Science and Development Economics. I currently work on a dashboard tool for inclusive and sustainable urban gardens within the Feed4Food project. My research interests are related to sustainable resource management for distributed systems. In particular, I am interested in orchestration for edge computing, suffiency as a sustainability strategy, and defining, evaluating and visualizing sustainability metrics for human-relevant systems.
I am currently a part of the Software and Sustainability (S2) group (Faculty of Science) and the Development Economics group (School of Business and Economics) at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. I work under the supervision of Prof. Patricia Lago (S2) and Dr. Lia van Wesenbeeck (Development Economics). Before that, I completed my PhD in October 2024 at Linköping University in the Real-Time Systems Lab, under the supervision of Prof. Simin Nadjm-Tehrani.
